ABOUT
Merry Christmas Tree Farm opened in 1990, 5 years after the Doles started planting trees on their 40 acre tract. The business became an alternative to an "on the side job" that had proved troubling to Mullins. We were raising cows and they were always getting out. We figured the only way a Christmas Tree would leave the lot was if it was tied on the roof of a vehicle. Thus we were on our way to creating family traditions for all and cherished memories for customers choosing and cutting their own trees. The Doles plant more than 600 trees every year. In our choose and cut field, you'll find Leyland Cypress trees. Our pre-cut trees are Fraser Firs from North Carolina. Our trees range from 6 ft to 10 ft in size. We are the number one Tree Farm in the mid-south.

Mullins and Norma Doles
Co-founders
Mullins and Norma started the Christmas Tree Farm and Gift Shop in 1990. Mullins currently manages the Tree Farm. Norma founded the Gift Shop to provide a joyful experience for her customers. She always had unique inventory that wasn't available in local stores. Norma went ahead to heaven in 2017. She left a legacy of strong women that continue to operate the Gift Shop in her memory.

Norma and Mullins' daughter and grand daughter manage the gift shop. They honor Norma's flare for unique inventory by adding new merchandise, hand made,
one of-a-kind traditional and whimsical wreaths and decorations that aren't available in most local stores. They'll always have a cup of hot coffee or hot apple cider to make you feel at home while you shop.
