About our Company
Merry Christmas Tree Farm opened in 1990, 5 years afer the Doles started planting on their 40 acre tract. The business became an alternative to an "on the side job" that had proved troubling to Mullins. "I grew cows and they were always getting out. I figured trees wouldn't". Thus we were on our way to creating family traditions and cherised memories for customers choosing and cutting their own trees.
About our Tree Farm
The Doles plant more than 1,500 trees every year. In our choose and cut field, you'll find Leyland Cypess, Blue Sapphire and Virginia Pines. Our pre-cut trees are Fraser Fir live trees from North Carolina. Our trees range from 6 ft. to 25 ft in size. We are the number one Tree Farm in the mid south.
About the Gift Shop
After 32 years as a meat wrapper, Norma retired and has never worked so hard in her life. She has started a Holiday Speciality Gift shop full of wreaths, silk arrangements, swags, mantel pieces, collectible ornaments, Fenton glass, and christmas decorations from all over the world.
Hours of Operation
Open House will be on November 22 from noon until 5:00 p.m. Official opening on Thanksgiving Day at 2:00 p.m. and then 7 days a week from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Come on down!
